ABOUT US...
We are a 501c 3 non-profit foster-based rescue. Rebecca's Rescues is here to find homes for abandoned animals. You can foster, adopt, or help us by donating to our rescue.
Rebecca’s Rescues is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue based out of Ocean County, New Jersey. We do not have a shelter location. All our animals are in loving foster homes. Our desire is to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as to find loving homes for the many homeless animals currently suffering without a place to call home. Our goal is to ensure that as many animals as we can, get to live a life off the streets, out of cages and into warm, caring, permanent homes. We strive to find the perfect home and we aim to do this by doing home checks and meet and greets before we place any pet into an adoptive home. Age appropriate spay and neuter services and any necessary medical care is provided for all of our rescues. In addition, we work diligently to Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) as many stray cats as we can. Through the promotion of responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals, we hope to end the suffering of all animals.

There are many ways to volunteer with Rebecca's Rescues. We acknowledge that every little bit helps and goes a long way. The work our volunteers do is invaluable so we thank you in advance for all you can do!
Volunteering opportunities vary but may include helping out with adoption events, fundraising events, fostering, social media, marketing and more! The rewards are inmeasurable as our goal is to help as many animals as we can and the more hands we have to accomplish this goal the more we can do! Interested in volunteering? One of the most rewarding ways to volunteer is to foster animals which means providing them with basic shelter and needs until they are placed in fur-ever homes. We welcome foster homes, as the more fosters we have, the more hopeful pets we can save. Our volunteers work diligently to match animals with fur-ever loving homes through networking, adoption events and more. Use our adoption application to become a foster.

Please HELP!
Titan
Titan has been in the rescue over a year! HE's a little bit shy, but a sweetheart. He loves being pet and will exchange cuddles for treats :)
Titan came to us last January having suffered from frostbite. His ears were bald and his tail pencil thin. It's grown out nicely since then with love and care in his foster home. Titan loves other cats and his foster has a puppy. He would rather share a home with a calmer dog.

With several colonies that we TNR'ed (Trap, Neuter & Return), sick kittens and cost of spay & neuter has drained our current donations. In order to continue to save homeless animals, we need YOUR help.

Kitten and puppy season is here!
WOW, what a crazy kitten season. We're getting calls and emails daily. Kittens found under sheds, in garages...With kitten and puppy season here already, we need donations to feed, vet and the day to day care of the animals in the rescue.

All our kitties one year or older have 'you choose your donation' as their adoption fee.
On a cold morning of April 24th, 2015, NINE cats were left down the street from the rescue.
Four out of the five female cats are pregnant and all were malnourished and needed care for colds and eye infections.
Nearly a year later Kylie and Ivy found their FurEver Home!!!
